The Middletown Senior Center provides direct services and assists in locating resources within our community to respond to the needs and interests of older adults. |
|
Fresh, nutritional meals are served Monday through Friday at 12:00 noon (excluding holidays). Meals may include: salad bar, entrée, dessert and choice of beverages. Suggested donation for seniors (60+) is $4.00 Non-senior guest charge is $8.00. Meals provide 1/3 of the current daily recommended dietary allowances. |

Home Delivered Meals are provided to those seniors who are home bound and disabled adults living with a senior. Suggested donation is $4.00. |

Health Counseling & Advocacy Program provides objective information to help seniors and persons with disabilities on Medicare to make good decisions about their health care coverage. Designed to assist you with filing claims, understanding health coverage and answering questions about prescription drug programs and health coverage. |

File of Life program is a method of recording vital medical information and placing it on the refrigerator in case of emergency. This can provide emergency personnel needed information on things such as illnesses, allergies, medications, doctor’s names, etc. Packets available at the senior center. |

Video Lending Library |

Over 1200 videos and 350 DVD’s have been donated to the senior center to be used in a free lending library for seniors. |

The Senior Center has information about Elder Abuse Prevention, in-home support services, local health services, potential caregivers, local transportation and referrals to appropriate agencies. And more…..just call us. 987-3113 |
