The Middletown Senior Center provides direct services and assists in locating resources within our community to respond to the needs and interests of older adults.

Congregate Meals

Fresh, nutritional meals are served Monday through Friday at 12:00 noon (excluding holidays). Meals include: entrée, dessert and choice of beverages. Suggested donation for seniors (60+) is $4.00 Non-senior guest charge is $8.00.  Meals provide 1/3 of the current daily recommended dietary allowances.

 

HICAP

Health Counseling & Advocacy Program provides objective information to help seniors and persons with disabilities on Medicare to make good decisions about their health care coverage.  Designed to assist you with filing claims, understanding health coverage and answering questions about prescription drug programs and health coverage.

 

Lending Library

Over 1500 videos and 400 DVD’s have been donated to the senior center to be used in a free lending library for seniors.  

Home Delivered Meal Program

Home Delivered Meals are provided to those seniors who are home bound and disabled adults living with a senior.  Suggested donation is $4.00.

 

Senior Law Project

Free legal assistance for Lake County seniors in matters such as Social Security, landlord/tenant disputes, elder abuse, etc.  Call Andy Rosoff (707) 263-4703 or (800) 260-4703

 

File of Life

File of Life program is a method of recording vital medical information and placing it on the refrigerator in case of emergency.  This can provide emergency personnel needed information on things such as illnesses, allergies, medications, doctor’s names, etc.  Packets available at the senior center.

Dr. Hagen, Podiatrist

Dr. Hagen will no longer be providing podiatry services here at the Center.  Should you continue to need podiatry services, please call his office in Lakeport, 263-9595

The Senior Center has information about caregivers, health services, transportation, suspected senior abuse, assistive devices for seniors and much, much more.   Call with any questions, we will try our best to assist you.
